This software is freeware and will be provided "as-is", without any
express or implied warranty.
In no event shall the author be held liable for any damages arising from
the use of this software.

All redistributions in binary form must retain all occurrences of the
above copyright notice and web site addresses that are currently in place
(for example, in the Info-Box).
Nevertheless I ask you to send a short message to sw@galinke.de if you
will use this plugin.
That is the only way to see if the interest in this software is big
enough to work on further updates.

This plugin is not a virusscanner, it just uses the free virusscanner
"F-Prot for DOS". More informations about F-Prot you will find in the
help file, see "F-Prot".

Installation:
=============

Normally it would be enough to unpack FProtMgr.zip in a folder of your
choice and to configure The Bat! to use the plugin (Options / Preferences
/ Protection / Anti-Virus).

But The Bat! will copy such a bav file into the mail directory,
configured under "Options / Preferences / System" and will use this copy.

This will not happen if there is already a file with the same name in
that directory.

If you prefer to use an ini file to store the configuration, instead of
the registry, then you should read the section "Storage of configuration"
in the help file before you involve the plugin in The Bat!. There is a
paragraph "Save in ini file".

After involving the plugin has to be configured. Further informations
will be found in the help.

Language:
=========

The default language of the software is English. In the configuration
dialog you may select a different language file (*.lng). For now there
are only two language files (English and German).

It is simple to create a new language file by editing an existing file.
The content of the file is editable with every text editor.

Im always interested in receiving new language files. If someone will
translate the help file, I would like to generate a translated version of
the help.

Extra notice:
=============

This English text, as all the other English texts, have been translated
by me from German. So there will be some strange formulations or just
plain errors in these texts. Please dont hesitate to inform me about
those failures.
